on using the ptg oversize reamer to change metric to inch action

howdy, soliciting comments on using the
The Oversized PTG Blueprinting Reamer .

"These tools can be also used to convert many metric actions, including Howa and Sako, to an inch-thread. "

was wondering if anyone has used this and made the metric to inch action conversion, and your thougths and advice.

have a howa/weatherby vanguard project in the tools and parts buying phase.
thanks,
bryan

One could also use a 1"-16 standard tap to convert a Howa. I did one a while back and stuck a take-off Remington varmint barrel on it. Adapted it to take M14 mags also. Shot good.

thats pretty cool :) mag setup looks real nice.

I did find some info here using search.
but when I got home today I went on another search for my "lathe toolkit"... eventually found the change gears and other stuff.
it just wasnt even close to where I thought I had stashed it away. somehow made it out to the shed. story of my life that.

My mom has that same blanket kendog, havent seen one in years.I love that conversion you did to take m14 mags, quite ingenious.
