Omega Auto Trickler

I'm looking for long term review of the Omega auto trickler. As much as I would love a Prometheus, I'm thinking this could be a much more fiscally responsible option. Is the accuracy/precision of the system basically as accurate as the scale it's mated to? Just hat kind of precision could I expect if I paired an auto trickler with a tuned 10-10?

I don't have the auto trickler I have the first one and I have a old Ohaus 10-10 style scale and using H4350 it takes 2 kernels of powder to make the scale move. IMR 4064 it takes 1 kernel to make it move. Its very easy to put 1 kernel of powder in the pan at a time. I am very happy with the Omega.

I have been using the Omega along with the GemPro 250 for 2 years now.. It is excellent... However, there is another one I still have and used for 20 years (not sure if it is even still in existence) is called "VibraShine">> same concept as the Omega.. You will like them (either Omega or VibraShine) for treat trickling..

That will always be the case. Sensitivity to added weight is important. If you add a bunch of powder without the scale changing position, you'll be limited to that spread of accuracy.

I have an Omega Auto trickler and find it works very well indeed. It's true you need to be confident that your scale is working well and repeatable, a tuned scale with an extended pointer and a webcam is the way to go if possible.

There's a video and reviews on the Midway site:

I had the first gen Omega and liked it so much I bought the newer one right when it came out. My Parker tuned Redding beam scale is accurate down to one kernal of extruded powder and I crank out ammo fairly fast. Nothing like a Promethius but the price difference bought a lot of powder and bullets.
