Older Sako PPC Single Shot A1 Rebarrel

Looking for recommendations for a gunsmith that may specialize in older Sakos with regard to rebarreling? Any help would be appreciated.

Accuflite is another option. It comes with an accuracy guarantee but it’s not cheap.

I had Bob Green chamber and finish a new barrel for one of my Sako A1s in 6PPC. The chamber is a min-SAMMI reamer of Bobs. It does not match the original Sako 6PPC-USA dimensions. Not sure that you would want to though. I haven’t tried to contact Bob this year but I heard he might be on a bit of a sabbatical.

I’d send it to Stan as mentioned above, Bob White or Bob Green. Just talked to Mr. White a week ago, give him a call. He has a zero free bore 308win groundhog match setup of mine atm - punching paper with Barts 118s flying ~3300fps. Bob White’s turn around was about 10 days, pending parts availability. Actually have a 22ppc Sako A1 I plan on sending him when by reamer from Manson arrives.
