Re: Stock Painting. I was on the fence reading all I could about marblizing paint including Mike Ricklefs articles here and on his website. I finally called X-Otic Paint, one of the brands that Mike recommended, and talked with Shannon. Shannon spent about 10-15 minutes with me going over alternatives. He set me up with everything I needed in quart sizes. If you are an experienced painter then you probably don't need any help selecting product however if you need any advice you can't ask for better customer service than I received from Shannon at X-Otic Paint. ricco1949, thank for your kind advice. I am not an experienced painter, rather an inexperienced one. Like you I ask many questions. My thinking on this project, is to have one of my friends that are in the trade, do the job. Every time I watch one of those car building shows, I find a new color, I like. Currently I am liking a Petty blue fire mist type of color.
