Oil in the chamber

I accidentally got a bunch of oil in the chamber. From what I know this is dangerous because the case can't grip the walls. Headed out to do some fire-forming.

I took the Sinclair too wit the bore mob on it, soaked it in acetone and swabbed it as much as possible. I think I got it all out, How do I protect it from rusting?

My solution,no pun intended) is to lightly oil the chamber at the end of my cleaning session and then, before going out to shoot, I use a bore mop with acetone or alcohol to get rid of the oil.

I've also begun a long term experiment. After cleaning I swabbed the chamber with Exxox, letting it dry for an hour and then ran a dry mop to soak up anything that did not dry to the metal. Exxox is a premier metal rust preventative. No noticeable difference in case behavior. For cleaning of the chamber, I swab with some MPro-7 and wipe it dry. So far, so good.
