Just wondering if someone else have seen this?
If I oil my BCG well (but not on the bolt face), I find a dab of oil right on my case at the location where the ejector touch the case head after every round. This happens not just the first couple of rounds but even after around 30 rounds. Seems like the oil is coming in through the BCG oiling hole for the ejector spring.
I am thinking if it gets on the head of the case, it can get into the other parts of the chamber and the bore which of course is not good. Anyone else seen this and have a cure? FWIW, I don’t flood the upper, just paint oil on the bolt, BCG, and charging handle.
