Ohhh S#!!!¥$$

Twice for me, once with N133 and once with H4350.... seems it only happens with the good stuff.

I keep threatening to rig up a spring and stop but am waiting until I do it one more time. Hopefully it won't be with a VV powder.

Never done that with a chargemaster...don't have one. Easy clean up with a vacuum cleaner. Try cleaning up about a 5 pound dump of #8 shot from a progressive loader. Vacuum cleaner won't touch it.

I have a little piece of blue tape on mine that is the closed indicator. Now if I can just remember to look at it!

Whatever. You ain't never dumped powder until you've turned a Harrell upside down to change the bottle...and forgot the plug was out.

I've owned more than 1 CM over several yrs.
Just this past wk I had this very thing happen
for the first time.
I couldnt believe I was so dumb. Obviously
I'm not alone in making the stupid mistake. LDS

I put a Label right on top of the powder cover on my RCBS 1500. "Close Powder Dump Port".
So far I haven't done it a second time. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

A few years past my daughter was helping and pulled the container off full of powder, at the time VVN110 which was hard to find. A pound on the counter and floor. Ouch...

I have a small pan under my drain, and red tape on shut off knob to remind me red tape down ! Pan wouldn't catch it all but would make me feel a little better if I ever forget to close the drain !
