OH MY GOD cullafornia does it again

I hate to steer this thread back to the OP (;)) but....pretty much everything I looked at on Bullits.com website had a California prop 64 warning at the bottom of each page. Won't be long and I'll be reading everything in Spanish!!

There was a time when I was proud to have been born in San Francisco (1948) but now I'm just embarrassed as to what it has become. I haven't been listed as a resident of California since 1970 and I thought it was bad then. Now I see it on the news and feel sorry for those that have remained.

I'm born and raised here, with no plans on leaving. My brother moved to AZ a couple years ago, tells me to pack up and get out all the time. I say I'm staying to fight for what is right. Many of my old hunting grounds have been sold to developers for track homes, or have homes built too close to continue hunting. I watched the wildlife populations decline in my local rivers for decades, and hope to keep SoCal out of our NorCal waters.

It's tough times here. But I'm not giving up yet.

I here ya, I'm not giving up yet either. It has sure turned into one big embarrassing disaster . I live far north not for from the Oregon border and it is killing us up here ,couldn't guess what it would be like living down south. If they were to split the state three ways we are doomed as that would leave us with Sacramento and a bit south of the gay area. Just have to stick it out for now as packing up is just what they want us to do.

Not to worry. So Cal gets ALL the water they want from Nor Cal delta anyway. And there isn't "squat" you or anybody else can do about it!!

Walk into any restaurant and see the sign posted, "Prop 65 warning, things in the food and in this business can be hazardous to your health".??? Real comforting isn't it?
And reproductive harm? Like maybe your babies could be born naked??
Now Pot has warnings. Serves the dopers right.;):)
I've said it before and I'll be saying it a BUNCH more times.
CALIFORNIA NEEDS AN ENEMA!!

Yeah, granite countertops fall under prop 65. The capital building has it posted on the wall, too, but I think it may be just people working there that may give you cancer...

I live in the heart of the Delta, it holds a special place in me, I vote against any SoCal issues. Hell, it's now brackish up to the mouth of the Mokulmne river!

Perry,
CA is still a great place to live. I also lived and went to school in the Bay Area in the late 60’s and early 70’s. I’m now just re-starting to live in CA part time. The casual shooter and competitive shooting community is very much alive and well. IMO, much of the CA shooting sports paranoia is related to the semi-auto AR’s....the sky isn’t falling.
