I have, in fact, needed to retune my loads only once and given my ability I am not sure that even that was necessary. I was curious how quickly this chambering would eat a barrel given its reputation so I've kept track for that reason alone. It would appear that at about 1000 rounds little will be left of the throat, and that is with my being careful in terms of overheating.
I have a Teslong bore scope and find it well worth the $50. My biggest improvement in groups was probably when I recognized that I had a fair bit of carbon fouling in the grooves. JB bore paste seemed to remove most of it and groups seemed better.
