Offset Base for Scope -- Options

Anyone know of a scope base that a right hand shooter could use his left dominated eye? I was thinking of making one that would use the Leupold type that has the two screws in the back for ruff Windage adjustment....

Thanks JR
An older side mount from williams . Has windage and elevation in a side mount .

I found the best way for me was to shoot left handed. I tried other ways to use my right eye but it gave me headaches when looking through the scope for long periods .I also prefer to shoot both eyes open.
If you’re getting headaches it could be you need to refocus your rifle scopes.

As for shooting left hand. I’m right handed, but my right eye was damaged so in order to shoot rifles left hand, it took me about three or four rifle range sessions to get used to shooting from my left shoulder and train my brain. It’s all about muscle memory. Once the brain and muscles makes the new connections, it will feel natural. I had to learn using a Winchester 70 chambered in 300 H&H. No flinching allowed. Odd thing is that I still shoot handguns right handed. Old habits I guess.

PRR1957, Me too. I'm right handed, injured my right eye at work, and now shoot long guns off my left shoulder, but still carry handguns right handed. Fortunately, I trained shooting long guns and hand guns ambidextrously since I was a kid, and at work. When I first tested the offset base I built for Mom, it was a real treat to shoot off my right shoulder again. But I'm content shooting left handed.

Ever watch Gunsmoke? Festus shot like us.
