Off-Set scope mount

A friend of mine shoots left handed and has lost the sight in his left eye. I built him a scope mount so he can still shoot left handed, but now use his right eye.

I have seen something done like this in highpower rifle with iron sights. I think the bullet impact change from level consistency becomes a bigger variable in this case.

Since this is a benchrest gun, why not just shoot right handed?

I had an off set on a 6.5x55, but it wasn't quite as far off set. That looks like a real nice job anyway.

where do you find offset bases or scope rings??
