Off hand shooters any tips

Now if you are talking position shooting, the match is won prone or sitting and lost offhand, so practice!

I think you have that backwards for course matches. The match is won in offhand and lost in prone. Get the lead in standing, clean the rapids, hang on in slow prone.

Perhaps I do. Either way, offhand is one tough position.

Best I ever shot in competition (Winston P. Wilson matches) was after a summer of shooting a HW97 20 cal pellet rifle all summer at starlings, grackles and rabbits with a few woodchucks mixed in…most all off hand shooting. Likely shot 3-4 thousand rounds that summer w/ that 9+lb air rifle. Found my trigger control was greatly improved in breaking the shot ‘just right’.
