Obermeyer barrels

Any opinion and experience with these barrels, How do they compare with Kreiger, Brux, Rock Creek, etc.
Thinking of getting one for a 6.5.

Up there with the best there is. Many of today's top barrel makers learned their skills while working for "Boots."

Get in touch with him, ask about a 6.5, see what the lead time might be....

I have two, and my shooting partner has one also. I can honestly say that the 1st bbl. was a "hummer" even during break-in, the 2nd one is taking a little longer, but still with only 50+ rounds down that tube it's shooting well under 1/2 moa. Both are .30 cal. Palma bbls. in 308, but I'd buy another bbl. from Boots in a minute.
