Match Grade Barrels compare to actual Match barrels

As the title states:

Match Grade Barrels compare to actual Match barrels.

Many are selling Match "Grade" barrels today. Customers are thinking there getting Match chambered barrels.

What is the biggest difference between the two? The Pro's and Con's. I am getting ready to order another barrel and before I do so, I wanted to check into this.

Thanks in advance for your reply,

Dennis

To me, "match grade" falls into the category as "complies with mil-spec XXX." Hype from the marketing dept.

A match barrel is made by a qualified company or 'smith who will stand behind their product for accuracy and performance standards. There are a number of 'smiths who have been mentioned on this forum that will build accurate barrels.
