Oak Ridge...Wild Life and Wild Winds

Well, I was thinking of moving down one day, but I hate wind - not so much from a shooting point of view, but more from a general irritation point. Anyway, sounds like a great club and a great area. I lived in and around Atlanta for 21 years. Went back north when my mother got old. She's gone now and winters are getting harder. Just got two new hips which would like some heat. Anywhere from Nashville east looks pretty good to me. Any benchrest in the area? I shoot F-class (both types), service rifle, bolt rifle, egg shoots etc. I think I'll come down for a look around and maybe a match or two this summer.

ORSA has benchrest matches. Not sure how much wind they normally have there, we had just had front move through. Snow and cold the weekend before, probably in the 60's saturday....

For those of you who shoot at ORSA I've put up a bulletin board with the main goal to help coordinate who is going to the Monday practices, but obviously it's a BB so can also be used to schedule for other matches too. This is not an official ORSA board, it's just something I put up this morning to try to make it a little easier than "reply all" emails or a dozen phone calls.
