LOCATION: Oak Ridge, Tennessee. The ORSA range is located on the Oak Ridge Turnpike (State Route 95),
3.5 miles west of the intersection of Illinois Ave. (State Route 62) and the Turnpike. The range
entrance is the first road on the left after stop light No. 16 at Nebraska Ave.
RULES: Current NRA Highpower Rifle Rules will apply.

Looks like they are calling for mid-60's and sunny right now, but you can't trust the weather predictions around here more than 2-3 days in advance, and even that can be a stretch!

Well I'm not going to make it after all.

After buying Berger bullets for the match I don't have any money left for gas to get up there. :'(

I will be there for the 600 yard matches. I suppose by signing up on Sunday I won't miss a spot will I?

I'll be there to. I'll be the bald one with the green savage. I'm heading down friday morning to get ready and look around town. Is the range open to go visit on friday, not really shoot but just look? I know i dont have a zero for that distance, so im bringing extra rounds to figure it out.

Goldy1, are you bringing that BRX you just built? I'll bee there too. I'm one of the gray haired old farts with a Savage action Sharp Shooter Laminated stock. Drive safe. You'll love the place. It's a gated range but there is always someone coming or going. There's several places to stay on Illinois Ave. Turn left off of State Road 95, you'll see them. I believe the Hampton Inn is like 70 a nite.

yes sir, I'll have the brx there. I got reservations at the days inn right up the road. I'm using SSS stock as well, the thumbhole version. My girlfriend is coming along with me for the trip. Is it possible for her tocome pull targets with me so i can show her how? I plan to get her shooting in an up coming match.

Yes, She can participate too. Show her the ropes. The targets are great. They can be run by one or two people. Don't forget to bring her a chair. Other than the ground, there is no other place to sit. Bring your chow and drink for the day. If everything goes well,we usually rap up around 3:00 to 4:00.

I'll be shooting a stevens 200 with a black tactical looking stock and a stainless barrel.

How many shooters are expected to shoot F open?

There is generally a good turn out. You never know. 10+ fclass usually..... then you have the f/tr and the prone guys.

I am bringing a new straight .284 I cobbled together with spare parts over the winter. I hope it shoots halfway decently!
