Oak Ridge Sportmens Association IBS 600 yd Match #2 results

We had another good turnout today with 19 shooters in LG Class and 17 shooters in HG class.

The Morning began with great conditions with mild temps and no wind. The First shot actually rang off on time at 9:00 am sharp with HG class shooting first.

The second match of the season and the club has produced a new world record for HG score agg of 207 By Glenn Strickland which is also his 2nd IBS registered match participation.,Note: This Record counts)

You've been rippin' it up lately. What caliber are you shooting in HG?

Also Congrats to Glenn Strickland. A World record in your second IBS 600-yd match is pretty impressive.

I am shooting the same gun in both classes. It is Bat M action chambered in 6 BRX No turn, shooting Berger 105's with Varget at 2975 f/s all the work done by Richard Franklin. It was my heavy gun. I changed the barrel to a Kreiger HV 8 twist and changed the stock to Richard Franklin LowRider to make 17# weight. This gun was changed over last Fall. The first match I shot with it was the first match at Oak Ridge. The wind Has bit me at both matches, in one class. LG this match 6.1" group, HG last 5.6". The Lowrider makes a big difference in the shooting. I will get so pics later.
