I swapped my NXS scope from one rifle to another today. I have done this before and usually was real close on windage and elevation at 50 yards. I want to use this rifle out to a mile and wanted an idea if I would have enough elevation between the 8X32 NXS and the 20 MOA rail. I bottomed the elevation and fired two shots 10.5" high. I turned the elevation all the way up the way up and put two touching at 27.5". I fired several more rounds to check repeatability going up/down and on 32X and 16X. All was well. This is the only scope I have with a Zero Stop. I don't know what my logic was at this point but decided the Zero Stop must be set to high. Got the book out and followed the directions to set the stop. I loosened the top four set screws turned the upper clutch down and retightened them. Put the cap back on and now I have a total of 7 MOA adjustment. I didn't break the scope. I can loosen the four screws and turn the brass center screw completely all the way up and back down. Can someone please help this old dude. Thanks Frank
