Numbskulls in AR15 online group

This response is why I stay at AS. No BS. Just the facts, surrounded by context. Josh could have used terms like "all day" and "if I do my part" while displaying a shot up watermelon and claiming a 1000 yard shot, but he didn't.

So if I want to load cases with inexpensive substitute bullets for a stock AR that will shoot as good as my eyes and irons will do off the hood of my jeep, I know this would work great. And its valuable info. I also know I would not use the same for my 22 PPC. Well done Josh
Well, gosh……thanks. I shoulda mentioned that the “test” was for magazine length shells. The Remington shoots better with longer single fed loads but I was testing for a good plinking round that worked OK in 4 guns.
If I want to shoot Bugholes, I’ll load 80 grain Bergers for my custom barreled Tikka 595 or grab one of my 6brs.

So posted in an AR-15 group about being excited to load these up for my 20" 1:8 .223 wyled build and umm alot of the commnts I was getting where..... Like I'm hoping these guys are just trolling but some of them where so confident sooo..Yeah... Have I just been reloading the wrong bullets for the last 7-8 years ? :D
Question every thing even if they talk like that know what their saying

I've been in graphic arts and image editor for 45 years, as a side I do photography, all my life since I could ride a bike I've been shooting, reloading over 50 years and I can attest that this phenomenon is everywhere! Not one damn bit of understanding of the core technologies of their profession or hobby.

I can tell you that the 68 grain Hornady in my Colt AR15 A2 in Delta configuration (a factory rifle) in light wind hits 1/2 sized steel 100% at 500 yards.

Four letter stupid! I fear for the world!

As the great and wise Bugs Bunny used to say "What a maroon!"

Not you Wolfdog, was referring to the keyboard komando that responded.
I've been using these in a bunch of AR's and bolt's in 223 for at least as long as you :)

I can't find 223 bullets so I buy 224 and chuck them in a drill and sand them down. Use a caliper to measure, you can get them at Harbor Freight. 14 bucks, but hey if you want precision you have to pay for it. Alternatively you could sand them down until they easily slip into the muzzle of your gun.

And Dusty Stevens, where did you get that logo on your mag well? I need that. Also, love your carpet.

Important note: This is a joke. All of it. Do not do any of this.

This is a typical arf.com rifle

Don’t listen to those idiots!
But!!! Those are the wrong bullets to shoot in your AR because they’re TOO EXPENSIVE!
I tried these and they shoot great in three different ARs and two bolt guns. Save some of your hard earned money.

Nice post Josh. I’m gonna try some, have you ever used any of their 9mm bullets. They make a 147 FMJ, I wish they made a 147 HP but they don’t, they do make a 124HP they call the “nuke”, expanded pics look pretty good. I been loading a lot of 9mm and I’m always looking for a decent bullet at a good price.

Hi! I haven’t tried their pistol bullets yet but will soon. I bought 1K of the Xtreme plated bullets when I geared up for loading the 9mm. Old habit of mine. When I shoot thru those, I’ll try the RMR. The “nuke” probably. I like having hollow points in my guns.

I like the typical AR15 guy that shoots paper plates off a bench with a bipod at 25-50 yards, can barely keep all the shots on said paper plate and then says he shoots benchrest.. I know we need to grow the shooting sports but some times I wonder.
