NRL22 Matches

I was watching the monthly Youtube NRL22 show tonight and thought how crazy rimfire has become! This months COF had 68 clubs and over 700+ shooters compete! The NRL22 runs a monthly COF they put out to to all the clubs. The NRL22 had 125 shooters at the Nationals this year and the number seems small, but they only allowed 125 shooters. While not everyone that shot the matches this month were members of the nrl22, in just 2 years the membership for 2019 is 757 shooters. Cool thing is you don't need a 3000 dollar 22 to compete and win! Look up the NRL22.org and check them out on NRL22 youtube also!

The competition and course of fire are fun as all get-out. Our club began to host matches this season and I can definitely say that you don't need much in the gun, optics and accessories to be REALLY competitive. I compete with a Savage MKII with a Vortex Diamondback FFP 4-16x and CCI standard velocity. I'm not going to win, but I can put in a good showing. The only thing holding me back is my shooting ability; the $$$ spent on gear doesn't give you points.

My only complaints are that the membership dues are too high, and communication is horrible from an organizational standpoint.

I have the same opinion as bulwaagh $75.00 for membership and communication is terrible. USPSA/SCSA membership is $25.00 they update every wed. and answer email promptly.
I will continue to shoot the matches but I doubt I will renew my membership. To me it looks like they are treating the 22 division like fill in work
