NRA Support Thread

Typical anti 2nd amendment groups are turning up the pressure on anyone who does business with the NRA. Might be helpful to have a single thread where users can post info of businesses who are cutting ties with the NRA.

The anti's aren't the majority, they are just the loudest. We, the silent majority, need to start taking action and calling these people to show our support for what we believe in. Post anyone who has taken a stance against NRA or 2nd amendment, contact info if you have it. Not enough to just quit doing business with them, we need to call, email, comment, tweet... and let them know why.

Please keep it as free from politics as you can so this one doesn't get locked.

I'll go first. National, Alamo and Enterprise car rental are cancelling their contracts with the NRA. I will be cancelling my business contract with them if they do not reconsider.

I have my NRA Visa with FNBO. Sent them an email yesterday to let them know that I will be moving my account to whichever bank is issuing the new NRA credit card. It's insane that a bank would turn away business from law-abiding citizens supporting an organization that defends the Constitution. Good riddance.

Just got off the phone with LifeLock. They confirmed they have cut ties with NRA but didn't have any more information. Manager was not available to escalate it further. They claim they will call me back. If I get better contact info, I will share it. For now this is it.

While I do not have an NRA credit card, I do, I mean did, have an Orvis credit card through FNBO. I called them up and told them to cancel the card and let them know why. I also, called and e-mailed Orvis and let them know I cancelled the card and let them know why also.

Well crap!! I just found out that Simplisafe is on the list of companies that are distancing themselves from the NRA by dropping their discounts. I’m on hold now trying to have my account canceled.

I already own the equipment so I will plug it back in and use it unmonitored until I come up with an alternative service. At least I don’t have any travel plans in the near future. When I’m home the dog is better than any alarm.

One of my cards, (I only have 3, how's that for luck) is in the mix. Planning on moving and purchasing another house so, I'm not cancelling my card...I just won't use it anymore. Besides that, it has a zero balance.

I had accounts with both. Will be calling and writing each to break the news. I travel a lot so they will both lose a few bucks.

FWIW, OMNI Hotels are not caving in and abandoning the NRA.

Someone needs to start a spreadsheet.....lol. It’s going to get hard to keep up.

You should still call and verbally harass them a little so they know where you stand.

This is the first line of defense at my house. He patrols the property about 12 hours a day and spends the other 12 sleeping on the porch. He doesn't bother our other animals, deer, elk or turkeys. But if anything other that that comes on the place, he lets me know about it. He got bit in the face by a rattlesnake the day before this pic was taken.

I will be looking at who supports the NRA, if changes need to be made to any account I have whether business or personal it will be done. It’s time, past time to pick sides.
