NRA Nationals

Earl Liebetrau and family and the Winnequah Gun Club have been expanding the range and building new infrastructure for the e-targets. They have also added more parking and leveled up some low spots. I don't remember the exact number of firing points they will have but I believe it is 45. Maybe someone in the know will chime in and correct me if needed.

I could be wrong, but my understanding is that the FCNC will be held in Phoenix in 2022 and 2023 and that no decision has been made concerning 2024 and beyond -

If they really do get e-targets for Atterbury, look for a push to put FCNC at Atterbury in 2024.

I sure hope not, John.
They might want to poll f-class shooters and get the prevailing opinion of Atterbury. I haven't spoken to a single shooter that had anything good to say about their experience at the FCNC at Atterbury and they all said they would never go back. This is 8 maybe 10 people that are hardcore competitors.

So, Warren, you aren't humming "Back Home Again in Indiana"? ;)

You are correct John, Phoenix has been awarded the FCNC for 2022 and 2023, and I believe there has been no decision on the venue after that.

Now to get back to the original purpose for this thread, the NRA Nationals Highpower Rifle Championships being shot on electric targets.

Liar liar pants on fire

I’ve told you several times I hope they have it at Atterbury every year

Yes, Matt, back to the thread.....

The Chairman of the NRA's High Power Rifle Committee put out an email yesterday in which he confirmed that they plan to use Silver Mountain target systems at Atterbury this year. Time will tell whether they will actually be able to execute that plan.

I am glad that F-Class will be in Phoenix.
