No comment. Have a good time. What have you done besides pay your membership? Honest question. Maybe you have done a lot and volunteered a lot of time. I don’t know. Just curious what your contributions are.

Thank you,The purpose of this thread is pretty basic -- to determine if other Forum members may be at the NRA Convention in Indianapolis.
That is a valid inquiry.
Do not use this thread to mock those who may wish to attend, or use this thread to raise bigger issues about NRA executive management. That is another discussion.
I will only add that the NRA-ILA (Institute for legislative Action) IS currently engaged in multiple advocacy activities and there will be an NRA-ILA seminar at the NRA Meetings.
United we stand, divided we fall brother. People tend to get caught up and miss that point. Enjoy the exhibit and the fellowship of freedom and feel good about contributing to the cause.Thank you,
Forum Boss

I always go if its within a couple hours of home. I was impressed with the crowd friday. I was disappointed with what manufactures stayed home. I dont want to name names, i went looking at rifle optics, many were'nt there. I will say nightforce, arkin, burris, vortec were.Loo
I went friday tooView attachment 1431652
Light and revolving mural projection show each night. Impressive!
Saturday was as busy with the crowds. I saw the same with certain manufactures not being present. Overall we (I and grandsons) had a good time. It was the first show for one of them and he got those a lot and handle a lot of firearms without someone watching his every move.I always go if its within a couple hours of home. Perhaps most of these missing manufactures feel the same as myself and many of you. I'm not buying wayne anymore suits or sending anymore money to them until he's gone and more of the nra money goes back to the supporting shooting sports and what the nra was founded for.

What have they done in NY state for the last 2 governor elections? 0 nada, nothing. What have you done besides pay your membership? Honest question. Maybe you have done a lot and volunteered a lot of time. I don’t know. Just curious what your contributions are.
Lee Zeldin came dangerously close to beating Kathy Hochul. And democrats lost 10 House seats. It was the most successful election the conservatives have had in a long time in this state. I’m not attributing that directly to the NRA. There were many factors. But I would argue that they assisted the NYSRPA (their extremely successful state affiliate) with getting out the vote. They also contributed a substantial amount of money to the Bruen case and helped the NYSRPA bring it to the Supreme Court for probably the most important 2nd Amendment decision in history. As a fellow upstate New Yorker, I feel your frustration brother. But it’s not Wayne Lapierres fault. If the 100 million gun owners in America joined the NRA tomorrow, you wouldn’t have to worry about gun control. Instead we squabble and argue over what gun rights group is the best. This group hates this one. This group doesn’t agree with this one. Etc. It just ends up turning into a million fractures that divide everybody. I sat in on the recent webinar put on by some of the leading NRA front lines activists and there is a LOT of stuff happening in the organization. Unfortunately it requires an active base to get it off the ground and running. The organization isn’t going to just do everything for you. What have they done in NY state for the last 2 governor elections? 0 nada, nothing.
NY has the most subscriptions for a state of all 50 states yet they did nothing! If we elected a pro 2nd amendment gov, they would lose a ton of money on subscriptions! I gave up on them years ago, other organizations get my money in this fight. Wayne gets zero from me! NO I AM NOT ATTENDING!
Sorry Boss.
Yep. Same here.As long as WL is in charge they will not get one more dime from me. I have been a life member for over 25 years, helped out at some of the local events, taken a lot of their courses, but no more. The man has thrown this once fine organization into the mud and evidently the powers that be are on his side. Since the Board of Directors keeps supporting him they are as much to blame for the shenanigans as he is. Maybe Soros is pulling some strings with the BoD?![]()
