NRA Annual Meeting in Indy — Who’s Going?

I wish. Unfortunately you have a lot of NRA haters on here who love to complain but have never volunteered their time with Front Lines or any of the other grass roots opportunities the NRA offers. Sometimes it’s easier to be ignorant and lazy than it is to be motivated and educated.
Sorry mate. The NRA haters here are those who have dealt with the NRA for 40, 50 and 60 years. We have done all we can to do make the NRA successful and help fight for our rights under the Constitution. We failed. Your turn. Please tell us when our 2nd rights will be restored under your leadership. No excuses, we are watching.

I know it can be a very controversial subject. I thought maybe some AS members within driving range would go. I am a couple hours away and always take my grandsons. Regardless how I feel about the NRA, I still like to show them the positive side and all the things the exhibitors have and just talk with some. I always see somebody I know and get caught up a little.

What have you done besides pay your membership? Honest question. Maybe you have done a lot and volunteered a lot of time. I don’t know. Just curious what your contributions are.

You keeping score? Is this like barrel length measuring? Pretty sure there are hundreds of opinions you have that could be thrown back at you with the same argument… ;)

As long as WL is in charge they will not get one more dime from me. I have been a life member for over 25 years, helped out at some of the local events, taken a lot of their courses, but no more. The man has thrown this once fine organization into the mud and evidently the powers that be are on his side. Since the Board of Directors keeps supporting him they are as much to blame for the shenanigans as he is. Maybe Soros is pulling some strings with the BoD? :D

Just out of curiosity do organizations like the IBRA fall under NRA rules? How about others such as PRS?

Kind of funny, there is a thread on F class and free recoil that has quoted some HP NRA rules, so I guess a lot of us support the NRA without even knowing it. Even the targets must be NRA sanctioned (they get a cut too) to be legal.

I shoot silhouette… A LOT of silhouette…

One of the ranges I belong to is also a NRA affiliate range…

I‘m tied to the NRA for the time being. There are changes in the air though…

:)

He claims to have done all he can do. His resources for serving the 2nd Amendment community are supposedly exhausted. I was inquiring as to what exactly those efforts entailed. Perhaps he has an entire resume of grassroots 2nd Amendment activism. I don’t know. Hence the question. It seems many people on here just like to complain. Complaining is fine. But complaining without first attempting to help the cause is akin to complaining about politics but never voting. There’s no need to get defensive and snippy. It’s an honest conversation.

As was mine… ;)

I will be there.
The energy of tens of thousands of pro-2nd amendment people is something you have to experience to
appreciate. I also enjoy talking to the actual people in many of the companies, instead of "Press one for...".

The whole political side of the NRA Annual is mostly separate from the Show Floor, so those who don't
want to deal with that -don't have to.

Plus, it's the only chance I might get to complement Wayne on his nice new suit.

Hopefully front and center(banners, literature, announcements) will explain to all attendees what the WEF and 2030 mean to AMERICANS. There will be no NRA or any pro 2nd amendment organizations when the great reset is finalized.

The purpose of this thread is pretty basic -- to determine if other Forum members may be at the NRA Convention in Indianapolis.

That is a valid inquiry.

Do not use this thread to mock those who may wish to attend, or use this thread to raise bigger issues about NRA executive management. That is another discussion.

I will only add that the NRA-ILA (Institute for Legislative Action) IS currently engaged in multiple advocacy activities and there will be an NRA-ILA seminar at the NRA Meetings.
