Life was good and my Dasher shot okay, but there are those out there who know how weak shooters can be.
Now there are those who stay up at night developing new cartridges that we cannot afford to be without. I am talking about Sam Hall, Alex Wheeler, Tim Claunch, and Jim O'Hara......plus a few more perhaps. You know that as a retired teacher, I can't afford to "keep up with the Jones's".
Having two Dasher barrels, I decided to sacrifice one to join the 6 BRA revolution. Bart Sauter rescued me to some degree and said I could use his reamer for my project. Billy Stevens agreed to cut off the tenon of my 28" Brux barrel and rechamber it. I called Harrell's Precision and they are going to shorten a Dasher FL die for me to use.
I still have my Bartlein barrel chambered for the Dasher, and if the 6 BRA doesn't want to shoot, I guess that I can always use the Dasher.
I would have preferred a new barrel for this test, but that definitely was not in the cards at this time.
Are all BR shooters as crazy as me? Good shooting.....James
