By now you guys have noticed the FORUM has a new look. What you can't see is that we've put the FORUM on a dedicated server with more horsepower (more CPUs and RAM). Also the database has been optimized to be more stable -- so hopefully we will rarely see crashes (knock on wood). The search is running considerably faster, and perhaps most importantly we have instituted a number of Security upgrades to shield the site from hackers and spammers. That's a big deal -- just last week GlockTalk and many other gun websites were attacked and put offline by computer hackers.
One of our own FORUM members, JayChris, has done the "heavy lifting" on this upgrade. He deserves a ton of praise for dedicating his time and energy to help create a faster, more efficient, and more secure FORUM. We are very fortunate to have somebody as smart and knowledgeable as Jay on the team.

We want to give special recognition to JayChris, one of our Forum members (and a darn good shooter). Jay, a super-smart IT specialist, volunteered many hours of skilled labor for this upgrade. He set up our new server and optimized the forum software to run faster and more efficiently. He also created new security protections to shield our FORUM against hackers. Jay went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure the FORUM runs faster and more securely for his fellow forum members. Thanks Jay -- you're the man!
