Not receiving emails when someone replies to a thread

Hi, I am new to this site and for the first week or so everything went fine but now I am not getting email notifications when someone replies to a thread I post or that I am participating in. Is there someone I can contact about this problem that could help me? The notifications are not showing up in my spam folder and I am logged in.

Are you talking about the 'Notify' feature? You don't automagically get notifications for each thread you post on or is in reply to you - you have to explicitly select to be notified of replies to a thread (the 'Notify' button at the top of a topic). If you've explicitly requested to be notified on topics and are not getting emails, we can look into it.

Thanks. I did not know that. I will give it a try and get back to you if I have any more problems. Most of the forums I belong to just send a notification to all threads that I participate in and I assumed this one was the same. Hopefully this will take care of it.

Yeah, for the most part, SMF (our forum software) doesn't support that sort of feature as cleanly as something like vBulletin. If you go into your profile, under "Actions -> Notifications" there are a few options there that might do what you want.

I've had similar problems this past week. Previously, I had always received e-mail notifications that I had a personal message. This past week, it's been intermittent notifications via e-mail.

Gil, you may be thinking of BRC, which does have that feature.
