Not again!

Two months, two cars and a very bruised wife. Thats a bad run… I’m glad she’s ok, angry she’s injured at all and by someone not paying attention. My thoughts and prayers she’s physically heals fast and everyone recovers mentally sooner than later.

The amount of drivers crossing the centerline has increased dramatically over that last few years, cell phones, tablets, social media, movies seem to take precedence with many of the people we all share the road with now days. Good driving isn’t a goal or concern of many. I’ve logged a little over 400,000 miles on motorcycles, it teaches you defensive driving, I’m always looking for cars rolling through a stop sign, vehicles crossing the center line and I never stop at stop sign/light and take the motorcycle out of gear. Whether in a car or a motorcycle I watch my rear view mirror and have avoided two serious accidents by simply getting out of the way of a distracted driver. It’s getting worse not better…. Be careful out there, it’s a bit crazy….
I have to agree. Riding a motorcycle does teach you defensive driving.
Butch: I pray your wife heals quickly.

Thanks for all of your thoughts and prayers. Did clothes last night and cooked-that is I went to the catfish place and got her an order of fried catfish. Airbags didn't deploy from a rear end crash, but the car sent a signal some way that notified the police and EMTs.
We haven't even settled the first one yet and unfortunately this person has State Farm Insurance also. They have a reputation that is not too good around here.
We had a 7lb3oz little girl with a full head of hair. Both momma and baby are doing great.

May your wife heal quickly.... having had broken ribs from horse wrecks, she will have a favorite pillow to hold onto when she feels a cough or sneeze coming on. Hope she has access to a nice recliner or adjustable bed for comfort. Having relatives in insurance..most are terrible and look for any excuse to refuse coverage.

Yes sir, our adjustable bed is a must have.

Jeez Butch,
If not for bad luck, you'd have no luck at all. We're thinking of you both. Sharon was especially sympathetic when I told her you would have to fold clothes! Take care of yourselves so we can visit again. WH
