Not again!

You may remember a couple months ago I posted that a 94yr old man ran a stop sign and totaled my wife's Genesis. Just a couple weeks ago she bought a Toyota Highlander Limited. Yesterday morning she left very early to go to the hospital for the birth of our 3rd Great Granddaughter. Traffic on the two lane rural highway at that time of day creeps at about 2-5mph. Nobody happened to be close behind her at the time, but she said a car was rapidly approaching from behind . The lady never touched her brakes. Later she told the police that she was distracted.
6 broken ribs later.

Thank goodness that the missus was driving a relatively large and heavy car/SUV --I hope she heals up quickly although fractured ribs are no picnic and hopefully there is no penetration of the chest cavity

My assumption was that it was your wife that suffered the fractured ribs ????

I will keep her well being in my prayers

She is really hurting and so am I. Even though it is just her and I she insists the clothes and dishes are washed daily. The problem is I hate to fold clothes.
You can't see it from the photo, but both the roof and floor are buckled.

Butch, sorry to hear. Lucky it is only broken ribs.. Could have been much worse> When I was a cop in San Antonio I went to an accident and the guy that was hit was laughing his but off when I was talking to him. I notice the dealer tags and inquired why it was funny that his car was totaled. He sad this is my second new car this week....!

People just plain can not leave their phone alone when driving..
