nosler partition gold - bad accurcy?

been using nosler partition in 06 and 7mmrm with sub MOA in the area of 3/4" down to 5/8" consistantly.

now with the " new partition gold" the groups are consistantly over 1 1/2" no matter what i do,

have any of you experienced this change in preformance with the new design

It may be the bullets, I had noslers that were about .0003" under what other noslers were. They did not shoot well, called nosler and they said: "nothing wrong with their bullets" Go to Berger bullets. Just got back from a moose hunt and the first shot on a big bull had him weaving with the Berger, put a second shot into him with a 160 nosler partition and he fell. I had some of each load in my pocket. The outfitter was worried about using Bergers at close range. The jacket of the Berger was under the hide on the farside right with the 160 partition. The shot was about 200 yds. I have friends that used to shoot the accubonds but switched to Bergers, one guy just killed a bighorn sheep with the 185 Berger out of his 300 mag and is very happy. I shoot a 7mm Rem Mag

I bought a bunch of 150/308 part golds from midway in their bulk blue boxes years go. They sold for a whopping $5.99/50.
They shot really well in many guns.
I sectioned a few of them and man was the jacket thick. I came to think of them as a Barnes x bullet with lead in the hollow points.

I tried the accubonds in my .260 and 6.5-55 and no dice.Shot the remington power lokt and way better accuracy. Alot of guys like the accubonds but they dont work in either of my guns.I was disappointed to say the least. With the reading of this article,I am not going to even try the partition golds.I honestly think with the cost of copper, they are using less to keep the price down around the cost of diamonds.LOL
