Nosler NEW 64gr CORE BONDED 224 Bullet

I got a box of these, since can't find Partitions,Nosler Bonded PERFORMANCE Bullets 22 Caliber (224 Diameter) 64 Grain Spitzer Solid Base.

As anyone shot them in a 223 or 22-250.

VERY LONG bullets, I don't if they will shoot, going to try them out Sat.

I hope members will let us know how they stabilize in different twist barrels. Seems to me they are intended to be a hunting bullet and it is long.

Sat I'll try them in my RRA 1-8twist. It will be awhile for a can check them in a 22-250, KIMBER, Remington and Weatherby. What I don't like they sit short, because of the cannule, .060. I hope that jump in the bullets doesn't mess them up. IT A WE"LL SEE>

I've shot hundreds of these in my .223 with a 1:9 twist barrel. They have proven to be accurate and work well on South Texas deer and hogs.

I have a 1x8" twist on my wildcats. I haven't found anything they won't shoot so far, but some jacket are too thin and leave grey smoke trails. ;D

I know the 75gr Amax makes an outstanding deer bullet out to 440yds, have yet to recover any bullets, in one side and out the other with 50 cent sized holes thru the rib cage, 1S1K, Dirt nap, right there, big Mule deer and Speed goats.

Tia,
Don

Don't overlook the Barnes bullets. In my experience they will not blow up at any velocity, are accurate, and produce superior penetration and a large wound channel. All these bullets work well in fast twist barrels. The question is the slower twist rates found in many rifles.

OK, got out this morning. with the NOSLERs.

They work great H322 .223 at 2650 shot about a 3/4 at 128yrds. In my Kimber 22-250 with H414 at 3500 under 1/2 so that will work.

Just to let you know.
