Nosler Competition 308

As there are no Lapua 155s in the country, I have bought a box of Nosler 308, 155g. Shooting F Class with a 13 twist Barrel. Anyone have any experience with these please? I have been shooting the 22 version happily, 12 thou in the lands, does the 308 like jumping or being loaded long?
Thanks for any advice ( other than buy more Lapuas when they 're available)

They are really a decent bullet and not overly sensitive to seating depth. I think they jump just fine. I am down to my last 200 out of a box of 1000.

We have so many Lapua 155's here they are practically giving them away... Accuracy with the nosler will be great if the correct powder is used. I always seat out close to the land's but not touching. It's always the powder type that makes tiny groups. Good luck.

Classic Palma Load:
Brass of choice - most use Lapua these days
Either size primer but most use Small Rifle as loads are easier to tune.
46-46.5 gr. Varget
Seat bullet to either jump .035"-.040" or jam .010"

Know that there are current and past Palma Team members here and in most of the Common Wealth countries that continue to shoot the Sierra 2155 successfully. The Nosler is a copy of the Sierra 2155 and shoots just as well. BC is not as high at 1000 yds. as the 2156 but they will get there just fine.

These bullets are very similar to the 2155 as mention above. Not a bad bullet. I have used the noslers with the Sierras. No difference.

I started using NCC bullets when the SMK became scarce and have not gone back. I shoot 175s in my 308s and 190s in my 300 WM. I have started with the H1000 and shoot 79 gr with great accuracy, well below the max, but I have not worked up beyond yet. I have not checked speed, waiting for a day off with sunshine.

I shot 200 gr SMK before using H483SC and they would shoot tiny one hole groups, but the speed was not great. I have not tried the NCC with H4831SC but I am going to, so I see if I can duplicate the groups.

@NZ-F class are the Lapua 155 scenars an approved projectile for F std in NZ. Not allowed in Aus and 155s are not used much in FTR.

We dont have any bullet restriction, type or weight, for FTR. Just 308 or 223. A Quick reading of the Ozzie rule, suggests 155g only for competition, is that correct?
