Nosler brass

Hey everyone, been here a week or two and have found some great discussions.
I am curious if any of you have seen nosler brass pressure out sooner than other brands. I personally load it for my 300 win and I got a sticky bolt fairly low in the testing. I found a load that absolutely hammers so I’m ok with it.
I also have a friend that loads for a 300 RUM and was loading Remington brass. While doing some testing we had a big spike on one round and it turned out to be a piece of nosler brass.
Anyone else see the same results?

I tried Nosler brass in my 7STW and it didn't hold up well at all. It was much softer than the WW and RP I had been using for years and the primer pockets were gone it two firings where I had never lost any on the other brass.

I am also using it in my 30-28 Nosler. I have been impressed with it in that application. So mixed results for me.

I've used Nosler brass for my 7mm-08AI.
I did notice that pressures peaked out sooner (lower) than my prepped PPU brass.

Ive used it in 243win and what I come up with is it weigh's more than other brass I was using(win) so probably less capacity and yes had pressure signs earlier for me also, but other than that had no other problems with it.Cant complain though I got it from THe midway dogtown ammo and bought it loaded for same price as bare brass lol...

Thanks for the replies everyone. I have also noticed the weight difference. In the situation with the RUM it was about 14 gr difference. I haven’t had any issues as far as failures with mine other than the early pressure signs. I’d like to try for more speed, wouldn’t we all, but the rifle is so dialed in I’m not touching anything until something fails.

My only experience with Nosler brass was my brief experiments with the 6.5 CM and the 26 Nosler. The brass was junk for the CM and didn't last more than 3 loadings. The 26 Nosler held up pretty good. Sold both rifles threw out the CM brass and gave the 26 Nosler brass away.

My findings exactly!... it’s either great or junk!.....

I had two of these in my last batch of 50 7-08 and the neck wall thickness varies really bad!
They did a good job weight sorting but other than that junk!.... the time before I necked down Nosler .308 brass and it was really consistent and shot well. 10 years ago or so I had some .300wm Nosler brass that was so bad I through all brand new pieces in the scrap bucket!....

I hadnt looked in awhile but it was priced right up there with the top of the line stuff you think it would be on par with it but....

i use nosler brass in my 6.5x284 with no issues.... you cant expect the same load to shoot the same from one brand of brass to another or show the same pressure signs due to case capacity differences...

I often have wondered if the composition of Norma brass has changed over the years. Back in the 70s, I bought 100 cases to go with a new rifle. I remember shooting nothing but "hot" loads. I couldn't begin to tell how many times those cases were loaded but, I never had a single case go bad.

In the 90’s it was awful like it is today. I get suckered into buying some every couple years
