Nosler Brass

Norma.

Have only used the Nosler CC for .204Ruger as the only calibre I can't use Lapua Brass. So far reloaded 6 times without a found fault.

Norma made the 6XC brass for David Tubb for years and it worked well. I have used their brass for hunting loads in several calibers and it lasts about as long as one can expect from near maximum loads with heavy bullets. 7-12 loadings before primer pockets became too loose. May not be quite as robust as Lapua but I found it a tad more malleable and thus did not require annealing as often.

Oddly enough I found the opposite in that out of two lots , they required annealing after only the second firing... When used as 6.5x284 I also couldnt get near the velocities i wanted without peaking on the pressure first.

Extremely consistent in weight, wall thickness, trim length (usually a tad short), primer pocket, etc.

It is "confirmed" to be Norma. As I recall, even Nosler wil ltell you that they receive it from Norma and then they (Nosler) does the prep).

204ruger.com has a lot of over-and-back about this being Norma...

Thanks

Bill.
I'm using some 260 Rem Nosler brass. Some of it has just (yesterday) reached it's eighth firing. Very pleased with it's performance last year in competition and to date in the field.
Regards
JCS

I use it in my 280 Ackley and have no problems. Shoots great. Been loaded 5 times without an issue. The box I received was short 1 case and after a call to nosler, I received 3 in the mail
