North Carolina 1000 yard IBS Championship

Hawks Ridge Gun Club will be Hosting the 1000 Yard IBS State Championship Oct 19 and 20 . The weather forecast looks to be a beautiful weekend in the hills of North Carolina.
This will be IBS match 9 and 10 as well as the State Championship. Match fees are 100.00 for both Heavy and Light guns or 50.00 for a individual gun .
130.00 for Heavy ,Light and Factory .
Factory only 40.00
Above prices cover both days.
The format will be the same two target with a shoot off as we have shot all year . Factory gun will also be 2 targets with shoot off if needed .
The state championship will be a 8 target agg for both score and group in the HG and Light Gun classes.
The Factory Gun State Championship will be a total of 4 targets with finishing position determined by overall finish in both Group and Score .
Match starts @9am registration ends at 8:30am.
Firing order will be Hg/Fact/LG Sat & LG/Fact/HG Sunday
State Championship winners for LG and HG will win Sightron LR scope .
Factory Gun State Championship winner will win a Bushnell Long Range Scope .
We have Several door prizes to give away . As always we will have a great time and shoot some small groups and High Scores

Lol nope,CONGRATULATIONS Brandon( mongoose)Carico NC Champ, great shooting Brandon, and all the winners including 2.6 factory gun Loggins. Special thanks to Donna the patch magnet and David for putting on such a great match, what a blast I had so much fun I might make it next weekend.

Thank you David and Donna for putting on another great weekend of shooting!! Congrats to all the winners! Brandon Carico was overall NC Champ. Also some great and interesting shooting went on like I have never seen at 1000. Jamie Loggins threw in a 2.929 inch group in Factory with his well worn 6.5x284 Savage to win it all in Factory gun. It looked like that might be small group of the day besting the fully custom Light Guns, but Jim Groce would have no part of that and threw down a 1.7 incher in LG! Old man Sam Edwards was not to be unnoticed by winning HG. He shot an astounding three perfect 100’s in a row Sunday! A lot of 1000 yard shooters go many years before they ever shoot a perfect 100, but 3 in one day! Unreal. Samuel Hall
