North American Rimfire Postal Matches- New way to have fun!

This sounds like a lot of fun!
I do a local 22lr silhouette match and have a blast with that too.
I will ask around here to see if anyone is interested, but for now count on 3 from S. Jersey!

One question, can I shoot in more that one class?
Quick answer, yes you can shoot more than one class, but only one entry per class per monthly match. Please send an email to me at narpminfo@yahoo.com and I'll reply with all info and targets. Please also include your names formal three, and email addresses so I can get the info to each of you. Thanks fo your interest, and happy holidays, Bill

Asked this question on a couple of forums but got no answer.
Rules mention needing a "witness" for your targets. What if you shoot "by yourself" ?
No $$ involved, no one to compete against so, if you cheat, you're only fooling yourself. No fool like an old fool. :rolleyes:Opinions?;)

You're absolutely right. Let's just play by the rules and have some fun. Thanks, Bill

Yes you may as far as i have seen on the score sheets. I did 2 this month. 1 in factory bolt and 1 in custom with a friends custom 10/22, my factory bolt savage out shoots the ruger easy too

Oops Billy already answered

I often shoot by myself since becoming a member at the local indoor range they will oft times send me back to the 50 yard range alone. They know im only shooting slow courses of fire out of my rifle legally they probably shouldnt let me but i enjoy not having a 45 right next to me.

My scores will never be in contention anyway :( I'm at 86% in factory bolt and when my rifle comes back i have to shoot custom.

These matches are a lot of fun. They go fast. We have had 11 shooters at each of our 2 matches. Try it, you will like it.

I'm sad to report that Bill Buck passed away at the end of December ... we'd like to keep the postal match going and intend to recognize Bill as we rename the match as a memorial.

Shooters,

Please find attached the results from the December Match. Norm and I have checked your targets, scores, and Norm has compiled the attached list for your review. As you will see in the list, we also included the individual shooter equipment list, so you can see what the other folks are shooting. Lastly, we will send out the announcement for the February Match late next week. Be sure to check the revised rules and regulations, especially the classes for the February Match. If anyone has a question about their rifle class, please don't hesitate to send us a note, and we'll get back to you as soon as we can.

Thanks very much for participating!

Announcing the William Buck Memorial Postal Match for April

Good day to you all. I am pleased to announce the April matches.

We are rolling out a new Match for those of you who would like to shoot longer distances. We have created a 100 yard Mini-Palma match for your shooting pleasure. It's challenging and fun, so take a look at the revised rules and the new targets. Speaking of targets, we created two versions for you to shoot. One has a solid black background, with white rings. The second set has more white background, with black rings. So pick what gives you the best sight picture, and head to the range!

We also are working on a new Match for Air Rifle shooters. We have 5 folks who have expressed interest, so we drafted the rules and made up two different targets for iron sights and scoped-rifle shooters. Those 5 folks will shoot the match in April, give us their feedback on how to improve the match course of fire, targets, etc., then in May, it will become a part of the monthly match format.

To summarize, we have the following matches available for you to participate in:
- 50 yard rimfire for scoped rifle Match
- 50 yard rimfire for iron sight rifle Match
- 100 yard rimfire Mini-Palma Match
- 10 meter Air Rifle Match (Trial in April)

As always, if you have any questions, please let us know.

If you are interested in participating in any of the matches, please send an email to NARPMshooter@outlook.com. We will send you all the documents you need to participate in the matches.

Come join in on the fun!

Now that this has gotten started, we now have a series of air rifle matches shooting at distances of 10M, 25M, 50yd, and 100 yd. Actually, I enjoy the airgun matches more, however, I do shoot the 50 yd rimfire as well. This is fun.

Yes, you can shoot in all classes, but you can't shoot the same class more than once each month.
