Norma URP in the .284 Winchester

My supply of H4350 is getting low, but I have URP. Burn rates are similar, so has anyone tried this combination? Thanks

URP is a double base powder and tends to temperature sensitivity. A better choice would be one of the Hodgdon or Vihtavuori single base powders. I agree that H4350 is your top pick but N150 is pretty close. H4831SC or N160 are both a little slow at that bullet weight. There is also IMR or Accurate 4350, both of which have performed well for me in other applications. [br]
We have similar temperature ranges in San Diego and I've found double base powders not worth the trouble.
