So i went to an estate sale yesterday and scored 500 pieces of norma brass for my 204. My question for you guy's is, what do you think of this brand of brass? Never used it before, is the internal capacity close to rem, win brass? I have heard that it is good quality brass, so maybe i did good.

It's all have used but believe it has been discontinued, it's been good brass, but have moved to the Nosler weight sorted, which have heard is manufactured by Norma, all in all both names here are about the best there is regarding the 204 Ruger

Norma brass is NOT made by Nosler. Nosler used to import it and headstamp it, but now Nosler produces their own brass at their own plant here. They purchased Silver State Armory in WA, moved the entire operation here along with their plant and corporate HQ.

So now Nosler produces their own brass, bullets and rifles, all right here in central Orygun.

And to the OP: Both Norma and Nosler brass could be considered to be "Tip-Top".

Rick, I know Nosler has been making their own brass for awhile now, but is all the brass Nosler sells with their headstamp on it made by them, or is it just for certain cartridges? I talked to them some time ago and was lead to believe they were only making their own brass for certain cartridges and the others were still being made by someone else, but that could have changed, do you by chance know?

Norma makes very good brass, it's just not quite as tough or durable, with regard to holding primer pockets, as Lapua.

Rick, I believe I stated that "I heard Norma was making Nosler brass"

B23....At this time, Nosler produces all their own brass for all calibers they offer.

Mark....At one time that was true. I still have bulk containers from the plant with Norma markings on them. They are quite proud that they produce all their own brass now.
