Norma Brass .308 Junk?

Today the post man droped off a box of Norma .308 brass. Took the brass down to the reload room to look it over. I am not happy at all. The flash holes look like crap to the eye. I also checked the weight as follows. What do you think?

Demax,
I don't blame you for being angry. You paid a premium price for a not so premium product. I think Laupa makes .308 brass, give it a try? Try to send the Norma back.

I had 300rds of lapua 308 brass run 3gn extreme spread with visibly perfect flashholes...

Disappointing about the norma...

The last lot of .223 Norma brass I bought was pure junk. I returned it to the US distributor with a written letter of complaint. No more Norma for me ......or Remington.

1st choice Lapua and a distant 2nd Winchester

For grins and giggles, I ran the numbers,M$ Excel make this easy):
Average: 167.5 grains
Standard Deviation: 1.1 grains
+/- 1 Sigma,1 standard deviation from either side of mean): 61%,61 cases)
+/- 2 Sigma: 98%,98 Casings)
The definitions of 1 and 2 Sigma are as expected.,IIRC, with a "normal" or single bell shped distribution, 66% of data is within 1 Sigma, and 97% within 2 Sigma.)

The graphic plot is as below. I made a mistake on the +2 Sigma line, it's shifted one bar to the left of where it should be. It appears there are at least 2, and possibly 3 peaks in the data. I'm not sure if I buy the theory that one peak = product from one machine. The data is skewed to the left as well - not sure what this means either, other than most of your brass is lighter than heavier.

The overwhelming majority of your brass is within a 3 grain spread - pretty good. Not sure how it compares to Norma brass from other lots, but I've seen similar variations in product from Remington and Winchester - for me, those shot just fine. From another perspective, in your brass, you're looking at a total weight variation of less than 4%.

The big question is:
HOW DOES IT SHOOT?
