Norma 6XC Brass

Hey, tell me some of your views on Norma 6XC brass... I hear how soft 6mm Creed brass is so tell me please, will Norma 6XC brass take high pressure loads and will I get 10-12 reloads plus like I do my 6.5x47 brass??? The reason I ask is "should I choose a 6XC or a 6Creedmoor???" Is the slightly longer neck and Norma brass going to help make my decision??

I have found Norma 6xc brass to hold up well to max loads. I have 7 firings on some of mine and they are still good to go.

If you are shooting tac matches, you shouldn't have any trouble with the 6creed. Mine gets 3170 easy with 105s. But I don't have any experience with the XC but my Creedmoor brass seems to be doing good.

Norma 6XC has given me excellent case life. On my 6th loading (3075fps w/ 105) and primer pockets are very snug. David T has it in stock currently.

I shot 6xc 115's @2950 for several barrel life's and never had any problems. I would shoot around 15 firings and replace but saved all of it for prairie dog hunts.

Great thanks guys!! I'm still trying toi decide on what I want.. Do I want a high performance wildcat based off Palma 308 Lapua brass and a Dasherized neck/shoulder or something simple like the 6Creed??

Shot my T2K chambered in 6XC at Thunder Valley here in Ohio today. Beautiful 54 deg. F day with mild wind. Load was DTAC 115 Hbn coated over 40.0 g IMR 4350 with Norma brass at 2980 fps. My SD was 7.4 with 100 rounds fired. Using my Nightforce B.E.A.S.T. scope at 25X and set at 23.5 MOA elevation I was banging a 1 MOA steel target at 1000 yds. as easy as shooting a tin can at 25 yds. The 6XC is THAT GOOD !!!! D. Tubb ain't no fool
