NOOB Question - and I promise I searched the forum first - Scope Ring Height

Guys,

I'm just getting into precision shooting so I don't know a damn thing. I bought a 10/22 just to get started about 3-months ago and I've practiced quite a bit. My research and my range situation led me to purchase (today) a Sako Quad Range in .17hmr.

I've also just purchased a fixed power SWFA scope.

I'm trying to figure out what ring height I need to look for in the standard Leupold mounting rings.

Thank you all very much in advance, and I apologize for being so novice. I called Beretta USA (they are the Sako distributer and tech support), they were absolutely no help whatsoever.

Best,

Andrew

Hey, Andrew: Those Leupold/Sako medium (.86 high) ringmounts should give you plenty of clearance with that 42" dia. objective/30mm tube scope.
Nice rifle, and an appropriate scope choice. Good luck!

THANKS BANGS!

I really appreciate your help.

I sent you a PM about Leupold vs. Sako rings just as a follow up.

Best,

Andrew
