Nobody has any .257 bullets

Bunch of 133s

And 135s:

There’s been Berger 115, 133, and 135 gr. lately, but they are getting gobbled up fast too.

I would bet that the reason they have 135 grain bullets in stock is just like what Adam said they need more twist than most of the rifles were built with. Ive owned a 25-06 since 1989, and Ive never shot a bullet out of it over 120 grain. Nobody made bullets over 120 so no barrels had a twist fast enough to stabilize for bullets that would not be made for another 30 years.

I always heard the BT was supposed to be the easy way out. I tried a couple different loads and no joy. My first time out with 115 Partitions was instant success. Go figure.

Yep. Screwed on a 1:9" Bartlein on my M77, the 5th group on my initial ladder started stacking rounds on top of each other....so I called it good. 2962fps average with RL23
