No Donuts when reducing Shoulder Angle / "263 Tactical"

Is it possible to eliminate the dreaded Donut when going from 20 Degree to 30 Degree Shoulders? I am using Federal .270 Win Brass to create a 6.5mm Cartridge and it has a 30 Degree Shoulder.

I see on another thread folks fighting with making .243 into SLR and the like and getting the Dreaded Donut. This is very close to the ".263 Sabre", only the Sabre has a 35* Degree Shoulder.

Any time shoulder brass becomes neck the neck brass becomes thicker. That is why when we turn brass we cut slightly into the shoulder to thin that brass that.will become shoulder.

Steeper shoulder angles have less brass migration. I have cases with 40 degree shoulders that i don't trim for.the life of the case. Don't seem to form donuts either. For some reason there is little or no brass migration.

Simple ways to handle the donut issue. If you size with a bushing die you will push the donut to the inside where it can cause an issue with bullet seating. Simply incorporate an expander mandrel of the proper diameter as your final step in sizing will push the donut to the outside where it will not.effect bullet seating. In fact a conventional full length sizing die with expander will do the same. My recommendation is to push the donut to the outside and turn it off with your neck turner.

Anyone size without an expander and use an inside neck reamer? Just curious if that's even an option. I have a 7mm inside neck reamer I got a long time ago that was included with a whole bunch of reloading stuff that came out of a closed up small sporting goods store for really cheap. Wilson stuff, Weatherby dies, etc., etc., etc.
