No change in group size?

Hello,
Say you fired four 5-shot groups, all 0.1gr different, and ended up with four groups that all measure ~0.36” at 100 yards.
Where do you go from there?

6mm BR
Reloader-15 30.06gr, 30.16gr, 30.26gr and 30.36gr all measured with an FX-120i
105gr Barts

No chronograph information.

30.06 was kind of horizontal spread, 30.16 was round, 30.26 was vertically oriented, and 30.36 was back to round. 30.16-30.36 were all similar in point of impact, with 30.06 higher than the rest.

Thanks,
Ken

I'd work on seating depth knowing i had a charge window naild down.
Would you just pick any of those charges and play with the seating depth or pick one in particular?
Thanks,
Ken

I'd go with a lower charge for starters, say your 2nd group thats nice and round.
What is your current relationship to the lands?
Not being a jammer I'd load 21 round moving seating depth deeper into case in .003 increments giving me 7 depths to test. I would load a few at current settings to use as foulers also.
Cheap accuracy can also be gained by adjusting neck tension.
Weather you use bushings or mandrels investigate in .001 increments up and down from current setting. Some bullet/powder combinations like more or less tension.

Pick one in the middle. They are the same. .1gr tests are pretty irrelevant since its hard to measure powder to that level and your case capacity varies more than that. In the end with usual bullets, cases and most powder its effectively +\- .2gr effectively 99% of the time

Good barrel eh? Now you have identified the node - seating depth and you have done it. BR's tune so well.

I would shoot a 29.8 group and a 30.6/7 group if it is not too hot for your action.

Often, increase in powder charge will take out vertical. Do you know what your max load is?
