7.22 is strictly about long range national championship. These are both from updated April 2025 rule book.

State championship falls under this. Texas state championship there are no unlimited sighters. A lot of clubs have gone the way of 2 sighters for state championship. Our regional match since we do course of fire 17.5 h we have unlimited sighters because of the off chance a national record could be set. Match directors have a lot of leeway on what course of fire they shoot.

Myself and K Taylor took over the NM State match after the Regional because of personal reasons of the Original Match Director, who will be there to help out as needed. I submitted the paperwork with the changes to the NRA which was approved and we changed the format to unlimited sighters on match #1and #5 20 rounds for record 30 minute time limit and two sighters on matches 2-3-6, 20 rounds for record 25 minute time limit. I have sent out a email to those who have entered informing them as to the change. I will have the new approved format at the match.
