lol I wish but helps knowing the date is consistent and plan a trip next year. We go to cmp western games but next year it’s Oct 9th same as last year and it was hot and miserable. Yes, I understand. Coming from Alaska, it’s never an easy commute. Depending on dates for nationals, which when held at Phoenix is usually end of October into November. I know some people have shot in costumes on Halloween day there. If you’re willing to can get enough time away, you could make both. Just to clarify, the format changed this year to Unlimited Sighters for the first matches of each day only and 2 sighters for the 2nd & 3rd matches. I’ll see if I can find a new match program to post.Only 2 weeks away. Capitan Shooting Sports is a beautiful challenging range. There are 3 - 20 shot strings on Saturday, followed by a meal. Then 2 - 20 shot strings on Sunday followed by awards. The New Mexico state championship trophy is available to anyone, you do not need to be a resident. Unlimited sighters for each match. Program and registration is available on Capitan Shooting Sports website.

They changed it through the NRA and everything properly a few months back. The only thing that hasn’t been updated is the website.Not a problem to me. I would have to look at the match formats by NRA rules, but I believe that 20 shot matches from 1000 are supposed to be unlimited. Limiting to 2 will just save me some ammo.
I had to do mine on a computer as well it would not work from my IPhoneWorking on signing up. Tried from my phone but now it’s directing me to complete the registration from a computer.
Since it’s a state championship the MD has the discretion to limit the match 2 sighters for all 5 matches or do matches 2-3-5 to 2 sighters. 7.22 and 17.1 of f class rule book. 2025 NRA F class rule book.The rule book is confusing. I don’t see anything in section 7 that mentions anything about sighters. Unless I’m being given an older rule book.
