Nikon VS Nightforce

Greetings,

i have a friend of mine who uses a nightforce scope and the clarity is superb and comes across as one well built scope however the $$$ puts me off right now from buying one.

i have come across and article on this site which mentions the Nikon 4-16x50 tactical and would like peoples thoughts on this scope aswell as if there are any other good medium range priced scopes out there?

If you don't have the time to save for a Nightforce, the Burris Signature Select 4X16
at around $435.00 is a very good value, if thats still a little much, drop down to the Fullfield II 4 1/2 X 14 X 42 at about $325.00........

A friend just bought a Sightron 6x24 with a mil-dot recticle that midway has/had on sale.I havent had a chance to see it yet.The local gun shop stocks and sells a lot of these scopes for the guys that dont want to invest the cost of a decent gun in a scope.Unfortunately Ive been spoiled with an NXS and doubt if I'll ever come to my senses with much less.:crazy:

I picked up a new Fullfield II 4.5-14 x 42 on Ebay for about $265 not too long ago.
