Nikon scopes?

The Japanese optical companies used to be one of a few makers. Now all the new entrants have made sales plummet and they aren't able to keep up with the times.

Their unreliability and low quality killed them off. There’s more refurbished scopes for sale than new ones

Thats hard to believe,wonder if there cameras and rangefinders are headed in the same direction?

A friend had me mount a Chinese 4x12 Vortex on a rifle for him. Great scope, POI changed when the power was changed, it gets so cloudy on the higher power you can't see through it, and when I adjusted the POI 2" up, the impact moved 6" up. Good thing they have a warranty that gets more applause than the scopes do.

This is truly a shame. I just picked up a couple 4x12x44 P5 MK1 MOA's and I am truly impressed for a $300 scope.
