Well
I got the binos before the 1K shoots this weekend at Williamsport and was able to put them to the test.
I found them to be very well made, they are Nikons)..
The tripod mount is just an L bracket with a mounting screw which attaches to the front of the bino hinge area. This was a little hard to keep tightened while mounting to the tripod, but turned out to be very stable.
The glass was great! From 10x to 22x there was NO loss of field of view,NO tunnel vision)!! And, no dark rings at the outter edges...!
Overall these binos are a great deal for the money for long range sptting and hunting.
Some other comments that I got were:
"would be good for hunting, especially groundhogs, because of the ability to turn the magnification down without loosing field of view"
"very clear glass" .... " good deal for the money"
So, If your looking for an inexpensive, light, pair of high power spotters, take a look at these!
