2 nightforce scopes ... Which to keep?

I bought a rifle with a Nightforce 12-42X56 BR Illuminated w/NP-2DD reticle on it and have the same scope but it a nxs model without the lighted reticle. The nxs model has external knobs (as opposed to screws with caps) and a parallax adjustment.

One of them has to go to help offset the costs of the new setup. The one on the rifle is already set up for 600 yds and I assume the rings have been lapped for it. The other one is a more expensive scope and the nxs glass is supposed to be a little better.

Which one would you keep?

Saw this link http://www.accurateshooter.com/optics/nightforce-benchrest-vs-nxs-scopes/ ... Looks like the br scope might be better for my needs.

The report left out so things, eye relief on the br model is .800 shorter. More elevation NXS that means a lot if your on the edge. The NXS is lighter and shorter.....jim

I suspect the BR has .125 (1/8) MOA adjustments and the NSX only has .250 (1/4) MOA

This is true and is one another good reason to stick with the BR scope.

As mentioned above all NF are illuminated the side parallax adjustment is also the on-off for the illumination on the NXS, sometimes it can be a little difficult to turn on. I really like the NXS over the BR, even though the BR has 1/8 adjustments, I feel having the side parallax allows me more control over the scope without having to change my body position too much.
